7 Scars is an animation documentary produced by me and my schoolmates from LCC MA Documentary and MA Animation. We made this film to tell each of our stories behind a scar on our body.

Because our experiences and styles are unique, we decided to use the form of collage to unify the 7 parts of the film. Due to the time limit, the collage is not from real paper and materials, but a digital effect produced in softwares like Photoshop. I designed the animation for these two parts according to the recorded voices.

"When I was a baby, I had something growing under the skin of my forehead. The doctor had to take it out which left me a scar."

"I have a scar on my left hand. It was from a street fight at my high school times. It kind of meaning at that time, but now it's just a memory."
