The 5-second animation is from an onsite project at LCC where we built an imaginary scene using wastes and some other materials that can be easily found around us such as fallen leaves, small branches and egg shells.
The color code for my group was yellow so it is the main color of most of our raw materials. We developed the idea of creating a battlefield and used the melon to be a main character, a soldier. The egg shells were painted to be the dead bodies.
Later we used our phones to do the lighting of the scene. The ping-pong ball was placed on the left top corner to be the sun, so the light comes from the same direction.
After taking the photos, I did some post-editing in Photoshop to add a spooky atmosphere to the scene we built. Then I made this small annimation of a ghost coming out from the 'dead body' on the ground to poke the melon soldier. The whole project was about instinctive inspirations.
